If you’ve been struggling to focus, stay organised, or keep up — a structured GP-led assessment
can help you understand why.
Clinically robust. NICE-aligned. Evidence-based.
Uses the following internationally validated tools:
The Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS) is a validated questionnaire used internationally to identify symptoms consistent with ADHD. It’s not a diagnostic tool, but can help you decide whether further assessment would be helpful.
If your self-check suggests ADHD may be a possibility, or if you would simply like some clarity about your experiences, book your assessment. Every assessment is carried out virtually via Microsoft Teams and is a structured, comprehensive, clinically grounded conversation using validated tools.
Following your assessment you’ll receive a comprehensive written report including clinical formulation, a clear diagnostic outcome, personalised recommendations, workplace/education guidance, and an NHS ready GP summary letter.
If medication is appropriate, you can be referred to trusted consultant psychiatrists for assessment, initiation and ongoing prescribing — ensuring a safe and supported route to treatment.
You may also choose to use your report to support a referral via the NHS Right to Choose pathway.

GP Led Remote Assessment
If ADHD is diagnosed, your report will outline your options — including NHS referral via your GP and private prescribing via regulated ADHD specialists. Please note: shared care arrangements depend on individual GP policies.
This is an assessment-only service. Onward medication pathways are available if needed.
In these situations, alternative support should be prioritised through your usual GP.

As an experienced GP, I take a whole-person approach to your assessment. That means looking beyond ADHD alone to consider your physical health, mental wellbeing, lifestyle, and any other factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. Using a structured, evidence-based assessment process, I'll build a complete picture of your experiences and provide a comprehensive diagnostic report with clear, personalised recommendations. Your report is also designed to support discussions with your GP and, where needed, onward referral to an ADHD psychiatrist or other specialist.
A structured clinical process including a screening questionnaire, detailed developmental history, DIVA-5 structured diagnostic interview, and assessment against DSM-5 criteria. It is carried out virtually via Microsoft Teams and typically takes around 90 minutes.
An ADHD assessment is the right next step if you feel that ongoing difficulties with attention, organisation, impulsivity, emotional regulation, or managing everyday demands are affecting your life and you want a clearer understanding of why. The first step is completing the ADHD Self-Check (ASRS), which helps identify whether your experiences are consistent with ADHD traits and whether a full assessment may be appropriate. If an assessment is recommended, you'll receive a thorough, evidence-based evaluation following NICE guidance, designed to provide clarity, understanding, and personalised recommendations.
Yes. If ADHD is diagnosed and medication is likely to be beneficial, I'll guide you through your options and support you with the next steps. While this is an assessment-only service and medication isn't prescribed directly, I have established links with experienced ADHD psychiatrists and can arrange an onward referral for a private medication assessment and prescribing, where appropriate. If you prefer, you can also discuss a referral to NHS ADHD services with your GP. You'll receive a comprehensive diagnostic report and GP summary to support your ongoing care, whichever pathway you choose.
Yes. ADHD is a lifelong neurodevelopmental condition, so it's important to understand whether your symptoms were present during childhood. As part of the assessment process, you'll complete a series of structured questionnaires, and someone who knows you well (such as a parent, sibling, close relative, or long-term friend) will also be asked to complete a questionnaire to provide additional insight. If you have school reports or other childhood records, these can be helpful but are not essential. We'll review all of this information together during your assessment to build a clear picture of your experiences over time.
Yes. Your report is prepared using a structured, evidence-based assessment process and follows recognised UK clinical standards. It is designed to provide clear, comprehensive information that can support discussions with employers, educational institutions, healthcare professionals, and other relevant organisations. Many employers use ADHD assessment reports to help inform reasonable adjustments and workplace support. The report can also be shared with your GP and other healthcare providers to support ongoing care and decision-making.
The purpose of your assessment is to understand what's really driving your challenges and provide clarity around your experiences. It follows NICE guidance and a thorough, evidence-based clinical process to explore your symptoms, experiences, and the impact they have on your life. If ADHD is identified, you'll receive a clear diagnosis, a comprehensive report, and personalised recommendations. If ADHD isn't the best fit, we'll explore other factors that may be contributing, such as stress, anxiety, burnout, or lifestyle factors, and provide practical guidance to help you move forward. Many people find that gaining a clearer understanding of themselves is just as valuable as receiving a diagnosis.
Your assessment results will be explained and discussed with you during your appointment. After the session, I'll prepare a comprehensive diagnostic report with personalised recommendations. Routine reports are securely emailed within 7 working days. If you've selected the Priority Service, you'll receive your report within 48 hours. All documents are shared securely using the email address you provide.
